This one came about when Scot Eaton asked me for suggestions for this month's cover. I had an idea for a composition based on an old G.I.Combat cover I love. Just Roiya blasting away at the controls of some big old space cannon. "And wouldn't it be cool if she was upside down?" I said. When the drawing was done I suggested that she have a transparent aiming device super imposed over her eye. That's the first overlay you see here.   The second overlay is the muzzleblast from the twin cannons. These overlays had to be penciled by Scot and inked by Drew Hennessey.   A third overlay had to be done when I suggested we see the reflection of the Saurian ships in the canopy of the gun nacelle. Then we see them all composed together by Wil Quintana. This cover was a lot of extra work for all the guys but they said that my ideas were good ones and they really didn't mind.   But I have noticed they never asked me for another cover suggestion.
